GMGT 672 Section 55 Valuation
The course is an in-depth study of the valuation of privately-held business. Students learn the four elements of a valuation report, study macro- and micro-economic factors that affect valuation, perform detailed financial statement analysis using liquidity, leverage and profitability ratios and other accounting data and perform valuations using a variety of income, market and asset-based techniques. Students employ undergraduate business concepts such as cost of capital, discounted cash flow and SWOT analysis.

Inspiring stories of leaders during a pandemic. This series of seminars features interviews with regional business leaders who have quickly adapted and innovatively shifted their business strategies and operations to respond to challenges and seized opportunities of doing business during a pandemic. Leaders from across different industries share how they are keeping their businesses operational, keeping their employees safe and motivated, and even developing new products while driving community-mindedness to new heights. Industries include manufacturing, health care, sports, distribution, service providers and education.
